Commitment to Biosecurity and Food Safety

While continually pushing production boundaries working with improved genetics and changing nutritional requirements, Floradale is also committed to the goals of biosecurity, traceability and food safety.

The investigation and use of new feed ingredients and additives keep us on the leading edge of technology as we meet the needs of producers, consumers and the environment. Feed safety is an integral part of our swine nutrition programs, with a focus on current medication programs, ingredient formulation, swine health and toxin sensitivities.

Biosecurity is of the utmost importance. At Floradale Feed Mill, we work closely with our producers, logistics and production teams in developing and adhering to biosecurity protocols and precautions in protection of our customers and prospective customers from the spread of disease to their farms.

Sow Feeds

Sow feeding programs for gestation and lactation are carefully balanced to optimize reproductive potential, rebuild and maintain body condition, and maximize milk production.

Pig Starter Feeds

Floradale’s Pig Starter rations are the result of extensive research, carefully formulated with a distinctive blend of easily digestible ingredients, enzymes, direct-fed microbial agents and organic minerals. These elements work collectively to promote cost-effective weight gains and foster intestinal health during the critical nursery period.

Highly digestible, especially in the creep and transition options, Floradale’s Pig Starter feeds contain a palatable blend of ingredients which diminish weaning stress, while promoting higher intakes and faster growth.

Grower-Finisher Feeds

Profitability depends on maximizing lean tissue growth per unit of feed intake. When balancing your rations to meet your unique requirements, the Floradale team of dedicated experts take into consideration genetics as well as your production environment and multiple-phase plans (e.g., sex separation, performance targets).
